Spades is a captivating card game in which players are required to perform a certain number of tricks prior to the beginning of the hand. The first dealer is selected at random, after which the dealer turns in a clockwise direction. The cards are dealt out one at a time, beginning with the player to the left of the dealer. This process continues until all 52 cards have been allocated and each player has 13 cards in their hand.

In the card game Spades, all four players perform a number of tricks. After adding up the bids of both of its partners, each team determines the total number of tricks it must compete in and seek to win in order to achieve a good score. The side that obtains points for taking at least the number of tricks required by its bid receives 10 times its bid.
